Registration for the upcoming 2010 summer CARA track and field program is going on now! 

RUNNING STRONG

For over 30 years the Broomfield Recreation Department has offered Track & Field as a opportunity for youth to become active and healthy.  At a recreational level and affordable price it is no wonder that today it has grown to one of the largest programs in the state!

 
 
"MORE THAN JUST RUNNING"
 1. Have Fun...every day is something different at practice
2. Limit standing around...athletes average over 2 miles of exercise each day
3. Everyone plays Everything...no experience necessary 
4. Emphasize the fundamentals...learning the basics of running is essential 
5. Connect sport to life...each day we focus on how athletes can learn life lessons from sport
6. Yell encouragement, whisper criticism...our coaches keep it positive to motivate & encourage the athletes
